CAMPOUTS!

Sometimes, we combine campouts with our hikes by heading to local campgrounds the Friday or Saturday prior to Sunday's hike. The campground is often located near the trailhead of the planned hike. Sharing good food and good times under the stars with your buddies is what it's all about!

Contact Byron at bdc@wwc.com . He's usually out around San Diego County most every weekend, scaling granite with his ropes and hardware. You might even catch him at the local Solid Rock Gym, an indoor rock-climbing gym at 2074 Hancock St., San Diego, a great place for beginners to start.
