San Diego Trail Tramps would like to thank those core members who have contributed generously to cover the financial costs of maintaining our annual webspace. San Diego Trail Tramps is a non-profit group with no membership fees whatsoever, and is entirely supported by volunteer work and contributions from it's members and website viewers like you. If you've benefited from our hike descriptions, information and maps for your own planned trips, or have just enjoyed viewing our hike photo galleries, please feel free to offer your comments and /or modest contributions. CAMPOUTS!

Sometimes, we combine campouts with our hikes by heading to local campgrounds the Friday or Saturday prior to Sunday's hike. The campground is often located near the trailhead of the planned hike. Sharing good food and good times under the stars with your buddies is what it's all about!

ROCK CLIMBERS LOOKING FOR HARD, GOOD TIMES!!

Contact Byron at bdc@wwc.com . He's usually out around San Diego County most every weekend, scaling granite with his ropes and hardware. You might even catch him at the local Solid Rock Gym, an indoor rock-climbing gym at 2074 Hancock St., San Diego, a great place for beginners to start.

ON BELAY!

WHITE WATER RAFTING TRIPS!

Periodically, some of our members organize rafting trips, usually up to the American River near Sacramento or the Tuolumne River near Yosemite. Get on our email list for announcements of possible upcoming trips. And for more details, go directly to american-rivers.com and mariahwe.com .
